We understand that when you order Lightweight Attire for your next adventure—whether a thru-hike, a weekend camping trip, or a fastpacking journey—you want your gear to arrive reliably and in good condition. This shipping policy outlines everything you need to know about how we process, pack, and deliver your orders. Please read it carefully. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Order Processing Time
All orders placed at lightweightattire.com are processed within a certain number of business days (Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays). Processing includes verifying your payment, checking product availability, picking your Lightweight Attire items from our warehouse, performing a final quality inspection, and preparing the package for shipment. During high-demand seasons (such as spring hiking season or major sale events), processing may take slightly longer. We will always display any expected delays on our website banner.
If you order a mix of in-stock and backordered Lightweight Attire, we may split your shipment. You will receive a separate tracking number for each package. You will never be charged extra for split shipments.
Shipping Methods and Carriers
We partner with several reputable carriers to deliver Lightweight Attire to customers worldwide. The available shipping methods depend on your location, the weight of your package (which we keep minimal—true to our ultralight philosophy), and your selected speed preference. - Expedited Shipping – Faster delivery, usually within a smaller number of business days. Ideal if you have an upcoming trip and need your Lightweight Attire promptly.
- Express Shipping – The fastest option, often delivering within a very short number of business days. Tracking and signature confirmation are included.
Delivery time estimates begin after your order has been processed (not immediately after you click “Place Order”). We do not guarantee specific delivery dates, as carriers may experience weather delays, peak season volume, or other unforeseen issues.
International Shipping
We are proud to ship Lightweight Attire to many countries around the world. International delivery times vary significantly by destination, typically ranging from one to several weeks depending on customs processing and local postal efficiency. At checkout, you will see an estimated range for your specific country.
Please be aware of the following for international orders:
- Customs, duties, and taxes – Your order may be subject to import fees levied by your country’s customs authority. These charges are entirely your responsibility. lightweightattire.com does not collect these fees at checkout, nor can we predict what they will be. Contact your local customs office for an estimate before ordering.
- Customs delays – Occasionally, a package may be held for inspection. While rare, this can add days or even weeks to delivery. We have no control over this process.
- Prohibited items – Some countries restrict certain types of outdoor gear (for example, trekking poles with locking mechanisms or gas canister accessories). It is your responsibility to ensure that the Lightweight Attire products you order are legal to import into your country.
Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an automated email containing a tracking number and a link to the carrier’s tracking portal. You can also track your order by logging into your account on lightweightattire.com. Please allow up to a full day for tracking information to update after you receive the email.
If your tracking number shows “delivered” but you have not received your package, first check with neighbors, household members, or any secure mailroom location. Then contact the carrier directly. We cannot be held responsible for packages that are marked delivered but then lost or stolen, although we will try to assist you in filing a claim.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
We take great care in packaging your Lightweight Attire to withstand normal transit handling. However, if your package arrives visibly damaged, please do not discard any original packaging. Photograph the damage clearly and contact us through the support form on lightweightattire.com within a short number of days of delivery. We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue.
If your package is lost in transit (no tracking updates for an extended period beyond the expected delivery window), please notify us. After we confirm with the carrier that the package is unlikely to be recovered, we will arrange for a replacement or a refund at our discretion.
Incorrect Shipping Address
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when you place your order. If you realize you made a mistake, contact us immediately. If your order has not yet been processed, we may be able to correct the address. Once shipped, we cannot reroute the package. If it is returned to us by the carrier as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange reshipment, which may incur additional charges.
Shipping Restrictions
We currently do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or certain remote locations due to carrier limitations. If you enter such an address at checkout, our system will notify you. For very remote islands or conflict zones, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
